This was the second year where my husband, family, friends and I did not exchange gifts. It was wonderful. Russ and I only bought a few presents for our nephew and niece and of course, Gus. Here’s his Christmas picture that we made into Christmas cards and sent to all our friends and family.
What a cutie, huh?
Awww, the reason this was such a nice Christmas was because instead of wasting time shopping and/or worrying about what to get one another we got to spend that time together.
Russ and I made graham cracker houses.
Russ’s started out as a house but then turned into a robot monkey head.
I also had time last week to make an Ariel cake for my niece’s birthday.
Most importantly though, Gus and I had a lot of down time.
Oh my goodness, and I am very happy to say that I finally watched the movie Tootsie (very good by the way) so I was able to cross that off my bucket list.
All and all it was a very nice Christmas.
If anyone else reads this post, I hope you also had a wonderful Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanza and if you don’t celebrate anything, I hope you just had a nice week.
